Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin)

The Facts
Vitamin B12 is required in the formation of red blood cells. It is used in the synthesis of methionine which prevents megoblastic anaemia. Its role in nerve myelation prevents irreversible neurological damage during pregnancy.
